Three chandeliers
How horrible of a wife am I that I had my husband do "honey do's" the day he got back from Iraq? I'm pretty savvy when it comes to home improvements but one thing I'll leave to the professionals is electrical stuff. I don't want to shock this kid out a week before I'm supposed to have him. I knew it would take him less than five minutes total so I strategically placed them on the ground right inside the door and acted surprised when I walked in. He sure loves me :)

Media console
I set up my new media center and I really like it. I was worried about it being too high but I'm happy to report that it was at the perfect height to watch the suns kick the pants off of San Antonio. Yay!!!
This is probably the only sports reference that will ever be on this blog.
The floor lamp in the corner was one I got for Mothers Day too. I painted the base and stained it and stripped all the fabric off the lamp shade to nak-ify it. I love naked lamp shades too.

Mothers Day loot
My husband called me from Iraq (where, by the way, he is leaving on Monday to come home for leave Yay!) and he said "Uh... you should probably buy yourself a mothers day present from me. Even if I sent it now, it wouldn't get there in a very timely manner. And this way, I bet you'll like it!".
So feeling very deserving of a shopping spree as I'm about to be a mother for the fourth time, I headed over to a great lady's house who lives in Camp Verde. She has acres of junk just sitting in the rain getting ruined. Which means I got mothers day presents (plural) for the price of one present!
Anywho, here are some pictures I snapped on my iphone. It's not even all of it. I also got a dresser, a lamp and another giant antique mirror for my bathroom that were in my sisters car.
So, I scored 3 chandeliers, two antique mirrors, two wood picture frames, a window that matches one I already had in my bathroom, a black media cabinet, a dresser, and a floor lamp!
Thanks Caleb, I love my Mothers Day present(s)!
