Home tour 2012

Surprise! I was going to wait until July to post this but my husband and I are leaving for San Diego on Sunday. I've been working to get my house together for a month now. It felt good to tie up all those loose ends. There are rooms I've never posted about on here before and I'm excited to finally show you!

I debated about explaining each room but decided in July I'd post the particulars about each room in individual postings. So if you have any questions about the rooms, feel free to comment and I'll address them when I get to that room in July! Enjoy!

Formal Living and Dining Room

Hallway to the rest of the house

This quote is my husbands contribution to the tour... He erased the one from Pride and Prejudice I had on there. He thinks he's hilarious. I think so too :)

Guest Bedroom

Kitchen, Great Room, and Dining

Boys Bedroom

Shared kids bathroom

Girls room

Laundry Room

  8. PS. Where are the leather club chairs??? I'm looking to purchase a set like yours. Do you still have them? Are they comfortable?

  9. The chairs are in my master bedroom on the opposite wall of the bed. They are comfortable and my husband sits in them while he waits the hours and hours it takes me to primp ;)

  17. It looks great, you can't even see any vomit stains. Although what is up with that curtain rod? Did you fly your straight broomstick off and leave it somewhere so you had to use a crooked Nimbus 2000?

Miss you, call me, skank. Not to be confused with "call me skank".

  21. There are so many things about your home that I just love! I think my favorite part of your home tour is seeing how you did something to each room to make it you. It's not a cookie cutter home and your style is clear in each room. Thanks for sharing!

  26. popped over from the painted home guest post you did.
Your house could be in a magazine. there is such personality in every room. The boys bunk room is very cool. love the way you did the beds and it looks like there is a play space above....or is it storage? in any case it is darling. I also love the red cross pillows too.
