ReplyDeleteI am a new follower. I have perused your blog and love your style of decorating. I may have to steal some of your ideas. ;) I have never been to Savannah but it is on my wish list. Hope to have a great time and show us lots of photos.
ReplyDeleteMy husband retired from the air force this past year. Our last base was in Albuquerque. We loved Arizona too but felt we needed to move back to our home state to be with family. We seriously considered Arizona though.
Take care.
What an awesome giveaway!!! Would LOVE to win :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a Georgia Girl so I loooove Savannah! The homes are divine! I take loads of photos everytime I go. Of course, visit Lady and Sons (Paula Deen's) and the Wilkes House. My kids stayed at The Marshall House on their honeymoon. Love all the shops on River Street. Let that little trip take you to Bluffton, SC. It's only 45 min away. See my blog for more details. Take the Trolley and the Ghosts Adventures. Tybee Island is not my favorite beach-too crowded, but lots of little beaches around the Golden Isle.
ReplyDeletealready a follower of your blog :) love all the amazing stuff you make and design!!! You are so talented!!

I didn't live at Benning, I lived at Fort Rucker from 2007-09. My best friend Katie is living at Benning right now but we originally met at Rucker.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and have been following you for a while. I adore Savannah. There was a great lighthouse on Tybee Island. Also I liked the Bonaventure Cemetary. We checked out a lot of the sights from the movie Goodnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Have fun. Can't wait to see your pictures and future post from your trip.

Also, I enjoyed checking out the Bonaventure Cemetary. We had a great time checking out various sites from the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
ReplyDeleteI am a follower! We lived in Charleston and visited Savannah some. The Blue Orb Ghost Tour was the BEST ghost tour I have ever been. Tobias is awesome!!! We ate at the Chart House which I loved. The fried green tomato appetizer is divine! I have heard that Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is 10 times better than Paula Deen's Lady and Sons. We just love to stroll the streets and see all the beautiful houses! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, love your attitude and blog.
ReplyDeleteKatie is a friend if mine from high school! She is great! Tell her Jessica said hi!

ReplyDeleteI live in a Charleston suburb and I am able to go to Savannah every once in awhile and it is just magical as I am sure you are aware of. Don't miss The Paris Market! http://theparismarket.com/ Plus The Pink House is always fun {if only to walk by and take pictures of it}
I just shared you on Facebook. I would have loved to have "liked" you on facebook, but i didn't know how to find you {sorry}
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather will be a little less oven like than Arizona.
ReplyDeleteI dont know if my comment worked or not the first time...sounds about right! Either way I'd love that trip SO cool! Can't wait to hear all of your funny stories when you come back! I'd blog your give away but we both know....I'm sort of worlds most craptastic blogger! Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteI love Savannah. I used to live in the HHI/Bluffton area and we'd go there to antique or go to the bigger malls other than the little one on Hilton Head. There are some antique malls right in the historic district and of course, The Paris Market. There are also a few mid-century stores around there too. You can visit SCAD and buy directly from the students which is cool.
ReplyDeleteWarning: antique/vintage prices in Savannah are a little high. You may want to hit the flea market if you can or some thrift stores. Bluffton, SC has some great thrift stores. The Cancer Thrift and Off Island thrift are great as well as Habitat Hilton Head in Bluffton. I had the best luck at those. It's about 20 miles from Savannah over the bridge and into SC. Have fun!!
